Mammoth Cave National Park: Cave Entrance
2023 By Mary Withers Kirkland, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Always with an eye out for other artists who appreciate vintage poster art and retro design, Anderson Design Group is pleased to announce a collaboration with digital painter Mary Withers Kirkland on this alluring depiction of the open mouth of Mammoth Cave, Mammoth Cave. Not only is this Kentucky park beautiful above ground, it is full of stunning surprises underground. It's the longest cave in the world, boasting more than 400 miles of surveyed passages, with more being discovered each year. As one can imagine, the cave system earned its name “Mammoth” because it would take visitors weeks spent underground to explore all that the cave has to offer. Geologists spend years going in and out of the cave just to study a few of the hundreds of passageways.
Thankfully, many of the cave’s most spectacular attractions can be seen in a day. Inspired by the cave and its majesty, Anderson Design Group poster artists created vintage national park poster art of Mammoth Cave National Park. Available as a print, banner, canvas, sign, notecard, or postcard, this artwork would look stunning on any wall.
