Mexico: Chichén Itzá
2025 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Much of human history remains peculiar and fascinating, with questions still unanswered. Mexico’s Chichén Itzá, located on the Yucatán Peninsula, is a great example. The massive pyramid, known as El Castillo or Temple of Kukulcan, dominates the landscape, a structure leftover from an advanced civilization that flourished in the region from A.D. 600 to AD 1200. A popular travel destination, the pyramid tells stories about the people who lived and thrived in the region thousands of years ago. This classic design and vintage travel art celebrating the pyramid is available as a poster, print, metal sign, notecard, or postcard.
