When we think of Mongolia, we immediately think of the unstoppable Genghis Khan. Born in 1162 CE, Genghis Khan was the founder of the Mongol Empire, the “King of Kings” as he was aptly called. Khan conquered vast territories across Eurasia. At the height of his rule, Khan controlled what is now modern day China, the Korean Peninsula, Mongolia, parts of Russia, and even parts of Eastern Europe and Southwest Asia.
