About the Art
Did you know that Montana is home to the largest migratory elk herd in the United States? Or that
Montana is also home to the largest breeding population of trumpeter swans in the lower United States?
Montana truly is the wilderness state, a vast, mostly rural and often uncharted, unaltered land that has
been left in Nature’s hands. Visitors from all across the country travel to Montana, particularly in the
summer, to experience the natural beauty of the region. And with tourism being a major part of the
state’s economy, the State of Montana works hard to conserve its natural lands for future generations to
enjoy. Seeking to represent some of that wild beauty in vintage travel poster art, Anderson Design
Group handcrafted vintage artwork of Montana, a retro illustration of a woman horseback riding at
sunset.
