About the Art
A major attraction of New Zealand, Lake Wakatipu is this country’s third largest lake. The lake is
nestled between the shoulders of tall mountain peaks on one side and lush forests on the other. Lake
Wakatipu is popular for recreational activities, but the lake is also quite important as the main source of
freshwater for the city of Queenstown. Seeking to capture the lake and the iconic Kiwi bird of New
Zealand, Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of New Zealand, an illustration
that features the Kiwi in its natural habitat and Lake Wakatipu in the background. An adorable wall
decor piece or a fitting keepsake from a trip to New Zealand, this artwork is available as a framed print,
canvas banner, framed postcard, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
