Panama
2015 By Steven Garcia, Joel Anderson
About the Art
World famous for the 48-mile canal that connects the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, Panama offers much
to its visitors. For example, Panama City is the only capital city in the world to exist inside a rainforest.
Just minutes’ drive from the city center puts one in the middle of the rainforest, yet still within city
limits. This is beneficial because the nation also has a large focus on sustainability and eco-friendly
practices. Close proximity to the rainforest reminds everyone living in the capital city of the importance
of the environment. Anderson Design Group rendered a custom illustration of Panama, a hand-drawn,
lettered, and painted illustration of a ship making passage through the Panama Canal. You can order
this artwork as a framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
