World famous for the 48-mile canal that connects the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, Panama offers much to its visitors. For example, Panama City is the only capital city in the world to exist inside a rainforest. Just minutes’ drive from the city center puts one in the middle of the rainforest, yet still within city limits. This is beneficial because the nation also has a large focus on sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
