Well known for its ancient trees that have crystallized over 225 million years into stunning rainbow colors and mesmerizing shapes, Petrified Forest National Park is also home to dinosaur fossils and the remains of human settlements that date back as far as 13,000 years. The park is also home to numerous hiking trails that traverse a diverse landscape of beautiful grasslands.
