Petrified Forest National Park: Route 66

Most national parks are known for their natural landscapes, and while this is also true of Petrified Forest National Park, this particular park is also known for the historic Route 66 that passes through the park. In fact, savvy visitors can sometimes find old car frames from the 1930s covered in sand near the still visible roadbed!
