Pictured Rocks, MI: Lake Superior
2016 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is an absolutely stunning stretch of land in the Upper Peninsula of
Michigan. This is a region of several miles of lakeshore on Lake Superior where the rocky cliff face
dives abruptly into the lake. The cliffs are stained all kinds of incredible colors, and erosion has led to
several arches and unique formations of rock along the coastline. Enthralled by the majestic beauty of
this lakeshore, Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of Pictured Rocks, styling
the classic artwork after the WPA-commissioned artwork of the early-20th century. You can order this
vintage art as a canvas banner, framed print, or metal sign. To learn more about Pictured Rocks, visit
the National Parks Conservation Association.
