About the Art
One of the most popular mountains in Colorado, Pikes Peak stands tall at 14,115 ft above sea level,
qualifying it as one of Colorado’s many “14ers.” Pikes Peak is quite popular because, unlike many of
the other 14ers in the Rocky Mountain range, Pikes Peak is not that difficult to summit. Visitors can
even take a train to the top of the mountain! This landmark of Colorado earned an illustration of its
own in the American Travel collection by Anderson Design Group. This illustration features the
famous Cog Railway, by far the easiest and most user-friendly way to access the summit of Pike’s
Peak. Remember a lovely trip up the peak and decorate your home all in one with this vintage travel
poster as a canvas banner, framed print, metal sign, or framed postcard.
