Pinnacles National Park: California Condors
2023 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Pinnacles National Park is as well known for its wildlife as it is for its incredible rocky spires. A park that is unique in so many ways, Pinnacles preserves unique rockscapes, countless interesting structures created by volcanic activity some 23 million years ago. Travelers to the California park hike among rocky spires, canyon floors, oak and pine woods, and cave formations. The park is known for being a sanctuary for the endangered California condor, North America’s largest bird species. Working to recreate some of the park’s majesty in early-20th century illustration style and vintage poster art, Anderson Design Group artists toiled with brush, stylus, and pencil to handcraft a vintage travel poster and National Park art in commemoration of the park. Order this print as a canvas banner, metal sign, or framed print, or conserve wall space with a framed, vintage postcard or set of notecards.
