Point Reyes, CA: Cypress Tunnel
2020 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Planted in the 1930s and well-cared for ever since, the Monterey Cypress Tunnel stands as the
symbolic gem of Point Reyes, California. Now more than 80 years old, the ancient cypress trees
have grown into an outstretched canopy above and over the road, creating a mythical, fairytale-like
tunnel. Inspired by the majesty and fantasy-world beauty of the Cypress Tunnel, Anderson Design
Group poster artists rendered a vintage travel poster of the tunnel, an original illustration of a buck
deer pausing in the center of the tunnel with a glowing sunset just beyond. Available as a poster,
print, canvas, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this nostalgic poster art would make a great wall
decoration, souvenir, gift, or centerpiece. And to learn more about the Cypress Tunnel, check out
the information page at the National Park Service.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
