About the Art

San Antonio Missions National Historic Park is the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Texas. In the 18th century, Spanish priests established these five Catholic missions along the San Antonio River to serve as the center of an ethnically diverse society. Today, the missions – walled compounds encompassing a church and buildings where the priests and local Native Americans lived – represent the largest concentration of Spanish colonial missions in North America. Anderson Design Group poster artists hand-rendered this original illustration of the Espada mission in the fashion of vintage poster art and travel art. This original National Park retro design is available as a poster, print, canvas, mini canvas, metal sign, notecard, or postcard. To learn more about the park, visit the National Park Foundation.
