Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
2019 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
No place in the United States is quite like Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. This park includes
miles of pristine Michigan beaches and forests. The most incredible feature by far are the sand dunes,
huge sand formations which tower 450 feet above Lake Michigan. Unique flora and fauna and some of
the most incredible views in the Great Lakes area simply add to the appeal of this protected land and
waterfront. The National Lakeshore offers hiking trails, bicycle paths, and campsites. Visitors enjoy
braving the hike from the dunes down to the water and back up again, not a venture for the faint of
heart! Inspired by the incredible sand dunes and picture perfect lakeshore, Anderson Design Group
rendered a beautiful, vintage travel poster of the lakeshore and the dunes high above.
