About the Art
Sunset Crater National Monument is a distinctive, instantly recognizable cinder cone crater located
just north of Flagstaff, Arizona. The crater is what's left of a 1,000 year old volcano, which is
actually quite young in “volcano years.” In fact, the reason why the crater’s mouth is so distinctive
and “volcano-like” is because it’s so young! Wind and water erosion have not yet had a chance to
beat this impressive peak down. Inspired by the peak and it’s reminder of what Nature is capable of,
Anderson Design Group’s award-winning artists hand-rendered vintage poster art of the peak, retro
travel art inspired by the poster art of the early-20th century. Available as a poster, print, banner,
canvas, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this classic design will make the perfect addition to your
home or office.
