The Flatirons, Colorado

A popular attraction for those traveling to Boulder, the Flatirons are a commanding series of rock formations that one can see from many vantage points throughout Boulder. The rocks themselves are five, large, numbered “Flatirons” ranging from north to south (First through Fifth, respectively) along the east slope of Green Mountain (elev. 8,148 ft or 2,484 m). The rock formations are picturesque and idyllic, as they capture the essence of the Colorado Rockies, in addition to affording visitors and locals alike many recreational opportunities. To celebrate Boulder’s favorite attraction, Anderson Design Group poster artists rendered an original illustration of the Flatirons, fashioned after the vintage poster art and travel art of the early-20th century.
