About the Art
A trip to San Francisco is not complete without a visit to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Built in the 1930s at the height of the Great Depression, the bridge provided jobs to hundreds of workers and a much needed economic boost to the city of San Francisco, giving the bridge a beautiful visual appeal and a wonderful history too. As of 2014, with the bridge being one of the most traveled bridges in the world, experts estimated that over two billion vehicles have crossed the bridge!
To celebrate the bridge, Anderson Design Group’s artist collaborator Kenneth Crane hand-rendered this original, illustrated travel poster. Kenneth's classic style conveys movement and energy, stylistic color and poetic grace.
This vintage-looking design celebrates the Golden Gate Bridge and it will make a beautiful gift or decor accent for your own home or office. Rendered in the style of early 20th-Century travel posters, this classic design and vintage travel poster will look great as a framed print, canvas, metal sign, mini-canvas, or as a postcard or a notecard.
