One of the great American pastimes, downhill skiing is a classic activity that helps us enjoy the winter months. In fact, there are even cities dedicated to skiing and snowboarding, cities like Vail, Colorado. When we think of Vail, we think of the mid-20th century, back when downhill skiing really took off in the Colorado Rockies.
