Yellowstone National Park: Stage Coach Adventure
2024 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
“Suddenly, with the rails here, you had visitors,” said Lee Whittlesey, Yellowstone’s historical archivist during a discussion about the arrival of the railroad to Yellowstone National Park. “This meant an immediate need for transportation. But all there was were a bunch of ‘good ol’ boys’ who happened to have wagons and horses.” The railroads brought thousands of visitors to Yellowstone, and locals with stagecoaches and horses stepped up to the plate to help tourists see and experience America’s first national park. The perfect addition to your home or office decor or an excellent national park gift for the enthusiast in your family, this original national park art preserves that history and will look great as a print, poster, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. This hand-rendered design is fashioned in the style of vintage poster art and the iconic 20th century travel art that first promoted the national parks.
