About the Art
Mobile, Alabama has been described as funky, festive, feisty, hip, happening, and historic. And
speaking of historic, one of the most notable attractions of the city is the infamous USS Alabama
battleship. The USS Alabama is a World War II-era warship, now preserved for visitors and residents of
Mobile alike. Battleship Memorial Park, the maritime complex where the USS Alabama is docked, is
also home to other attractions, museums, and fun activities for families to spend their day learning and
enjoying beautiful downtown Mobile and a slice of history at the same time. Our talented artists
designed and hand-rendered vintage poster art of the USS Alabama, a retro design that harkens back to
the Golden Age of Illustration and the classic designs of the early-20th century. This poster would
make the perfect addition to any office, study, den, living room, or even a man cave.
